SOLSTICE is a conceptual fragrance + scent brand identity system designed in the summer of 2023. I am currently very inspired by the aesthetics of summer, a luxurious romanticization of the interim period between the changing seasons. A time of relaxation and rejuvenation; the smell of salt and sweat fill the air at any given time. It’s hot, sexy and alluring. When thinking about my current affinity for the summer months, I wanted to find another concept to amalgamate into a full fleshed out brand, so I eventually landed on my interest in Greek mythology — specifically the lore and art inspired by it. The Summer Solstice marks the first day of the calendar year in ancient greek mythology, so I decided to call this brand SOLSTICE to signify the beginning of a seductive, captivating, and fragrant never ending summer.
