brand identity / art direction / logo + collateral design

Daydream Denim is a brand identity concept and exploration born from my love of denim and a good alliteration. I formulated the name one week when I suddenly acquired 6 pairs of jeans that fit me perfectly, despite only owning one pair (ill fitting) before that week. I love the word “denim,” and I’m also obsessed with alliterations lately, so I started thinking of words that start with “D” to compliment the idea. I was listening to Miley Cyrus’s song, “Rose Color Lenses,” when I heard the beautiful lyric “daydream deja vu,” and it hit me: Daydream Denim! And by the end of the week I had finished brainstorming and sketching and begun planning out the digital exploration for this brand identity. Take a look at the logo mark and collateral material I designed for this identity, along with the stunning photography that was captured alongside my creative mentors, muses, and best friends Levi Sanford and Maggie Walden.
